We love getting good reviews

Toronto Court Reporting wants to hear from you!

We love reading our reviews. Our latest comes from Chris Weisdorf, a self-represented litigant:

“As a self-represented applicant who is behind what appears to be the largest constitutional challenge in history, I found out very quickly that I was not welcome at a couple of the other court reporting firms. One that was welcoming was too busy to accommodate me. Completely booked. Others were extremely expensive. In general, hiring a court reporter is not an inexpensive endeavour. Toronto Court Reporting was highly accommodating. Once I secured our conference room, booking was quick and easy.

The actual transcript looks terrific and very clean. No one can ever complain about its comprehension or presentation, especially the court, which is the entire point. A hard copy and electronic copy in PDF format was provided- the hard copy being for the court. Since this is a constitutional challenge and application, the electronic copies were served to 4 different parties as required under the Courts of Justice Act. Something that is overlooked by almost everyone, including process servers and court reporters. But not this company.

The transcription was completed in record time- only 2 days- which was critical to the Superior Court scheduling judge's timeline. Some minor mistakes were noted and understandable: words like "appeal" instead of "repeal", and one author's name had one wrong letter in it. No one else could've done any better under the circumstances and critical timeline. I would definitely use Toronto Court Reporting again for any depositions (mine was a cross-examination), and highly recommend them for everyone else's court reporting and transcription needs. That means if you have a CD from a tribunal with a recording on it, they'll take care of it for you. Perfect for appeals to Divisional Court. Thank you - I'm happy I found you and your company when I did.”
